I received my B.S. in computer science from Northwest Normal University in 2009. After that, I took four years as a middle school teacher at a minority school in Inner Mongolia of China. I started my M.S. study at Australian National Universityand received my M.S. in computer science in 2014. In 2015, I started my Ph.D. study at Oregon State University, working with Prof.Scott Sanner. After one year of study at OSU, I transferred to University of Toronto in 2016.
My research focuses on conducting conditional inference on deep learning models, which aims to extends both Probabilistic Graphical Models and Deep Learning Models for large-scale down-stream applications. The application domain of my research includes Conversational Recommendation System, Classic Planning, Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision. I usually push my research into concrete applications, and I am very proud that my works raise many interests from the industry. My publication record partially reflects my research interest.
